Text messages (SMS)

HeyVini is a family care companion run by Acve Management Solutions Private Limited. In the United States and Canada, people who choose to can get HeyVini messages from Vini by text message instead of WhatsApp or Telegram. This page explains how the program works.

Program name and sender

HeyVini. Texts are sent from +1 (872) 327-3099 and begin with "HeyVini".

What we send

Daily check-ins ("How are you feeling today?")
Medicine and task reminders at the times you set
Replies from Vini when you text a question
Family alerts when a check-in goes unanswered or someone says they are unwell

We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How you opt in

We only text people who have agreed to it. In the HeyVini web app, "Text message" is chosen as the channel, the mobile number is entered, and the text message consent box is ticked, either by you or by the family member setting you up, with your permission. This box is separate from accepting our Terms and is never ticked for you. The first text we send confirms the subscription and explains how to stop, so you can reply STOP at any time.

This is what the consent step looks like in the app:

After you opt in, you get one confirmation text:

HeyVini: You're now subscribed to texts from Vini, your family's daily check-in and reminder companion. Msg frequency varies (usually 1-5/day). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

HeyVini: Good morning Asha! How are you feeling today? Just reply here.

HeyVini: Time for your 8pm blood pressure tablet. Reply DONE once you've taken it.

HeyVini: Hi Raj, your mum hasn't replied to today's check-in yet. You may want to give her a call. Reply STOP to opt out.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies, usually 1 to 5 messages a day depending on your check-ins and reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

STOP and HELP

Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts. You will get one confirmation and nothing more.
Reply START to re-subscribe after stopping.

Privacy

We use your mobile number only to send the HeyVini messages you asked for. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
