Voice notes: your parent can just talk to Vini

A lot of parents' replies are two words long. Not because they have nothing to say. Typing on a phone is a chore when the keys are small and your eyes are tired, so they keep it short.

Hand them the little microphone and the stories come out.

What changed

Your parent can now send Vini a voice note, on WhatsApp or Telegram, and Vini understands it. She checks anything unclear, confirms before she adds a reminder, and replies in text. A spoken "I'm fine, just back from the market" counts as a check-in reply too.

Why

Typing was the friction. Every family we spoke to had a parent who would happily talk to a phone but not type into one. Vini replies in text on purpose: it's cheaper, it's easy to scroll back to, and nobody wants a synthetic voice pretending to be a person.

What it means for your family

Your parent talks. Vini does the rest. A voice note takes Vini a few seconds longer than a typed message, and that's the only difference you'll notice.
